Submit a booking request with your goals, preferred date, and what you're working on. Mentors respond within 48 hours.

Once confirmed, pay the mentor's session rate. 90% goes directly to them — 10% supports the NurseNest platform.

Do I need a subscription?
No. Browsing mentor profiles is completely free. You only pay when you book and confirm a session with a mentor.
Why do rates vary between mentors?
Mentors set their own rates based on their specialty, experience, and availability. Every rate is capped at $50/session — you'll never pay more than that on NurseNest.
What's the platform fee?
NurseNest takes a 10% fee from each session. This covers payment processing, mentor vetting, platform operations, and student support. Mentors keep 90% of their rate.
How do I see a mentor's rate?
Every mentor profile on the Find Mentors page shows their session rate. Filter by specialty to compare options.
Can I message a mentor before booking?
Yes. Use the booking request form to describe your goals and what you're looking for. Mentors respond before you commit to paying anything.
I'm a nurse — how do I become a mentor?
Apply on the Become a Mentor page. Set your specialty, rate (up to $50/session), and availability. We review applications within 2–3 business days.
